I have a dedicated Gmail address that is strictly for entering travel-related competitions. Nothing else.
And once I’ve entered a competition, my favorite inbox search terms are Congratulations’, ‘Winner’ or ‘Runner up’ just to make sure I don’t miss out on any you’re the winner message.
These travel contests or travel competitions are one truly affordable way to fuel your travel addiction or to jumpstart a career in travel.
When I entered, and won, my first ever travel contest by VisitOslo, I discovered that this is a really great way to live! And if you’ve read this far, you’re probably like me.
Always looking for unique and creative ways to finance my travels.
Just make sure to visit the competition entry page, and make sure you meet all the terms and conditions. You don’t want to waste your time entering a competition only to be disqualified because you didn’t adhere to the T & Cs.

Xposure 2018 International & Film Competitions

The competition is open to everyone aged 18 and over.
Description
The contest is organised by Sharjah Media Centre Bureau.
What is Xposure? Sharjah Government Media Bureau launched the concept of Xposure in 2016 as an International Photography Festival that would become an annual feature in the calendar of professional photographers, photography enthusiasts, filmmakers, students and educators from around the world. Xposure is the official educational & imagery photography platform that combines a broad range of photography events including Exhibitions, Workshops, Seminars, Presentations, Competitions, Photo Walks, a photographic product Trade Show.
The competition has 9 categories:
