Commons:Wiki Loves Earth 2020

Upload photos of natural heritage sites in your country to promote your country, help Wikipedia and win prizes!

You can participate in the Wiki Loves Earth contest by taking suitable pictures and uploading them to Wikimedia Commons during the month of July 2020.

• Eligibility:
  • This prize promotion is open to entrants worldwide.
  • You must be the original photographer, and upload the photo yourself.
  • You must identify the location or species depicted in the picture.
  • You must accept to put your picture under the license CC-BY-SA 4.0 (details).
• End Date of competition:
  • All entries must be received by 23:59 GMT on 29 July 2020.
  • The winner will be notified by 15 August 2020
• How to enter the competition:
  • Find natural heritage or monument in Kenya.
    • To be eligible for the Wiki Loves Earth contest, the photograph must be of a natural area, or identified flora or fauna. Different types of natural areas are eligible such as national parks, protected area, etc.
  • Capture the natural heritage or monuments in your country
  • Upload your photograph of the natural heritage. Enter Now!
  • For the picture to be eligible, you can take it anytime, as long as you have taken it yourself and you upload it to Commons in July by using the appropriate form.
• Grand prize: 
  • Visit the winning photographs from this year’s competition at the end of July, 2020.
