On Wednesday, July 20, 2022 the province of Nova Scotia will be hosting a free one-stop job fair for Newcomers to Nova Scotia.
The Nova Scotia job fair is open to all job seekers.
Do remember to also bring your resume and ensure it is in Canadian resume style.
The job fair will take place in the the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Chrysler Canada Pavilion at Pier 21, located at 1055 Marginal Rd. in downtown Halifax.
The Nova Scotia job fair’s main goal is to connect job-ready newcomers to Nova Scotia with the jobs, community connections and settlement services they need to study, work and thrive in Nova Scotia.
The job fair in Nova Scotia will take place from 13:00 to 15:00 p.m. with exhibitions from nearly 40 employers from all over Nova Scotia (e.g. Shannex Inc., Westin Nova Scotian, etc.) representatives from the Department of Labour, Skills and Immigration, Nova Scotia Works, Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia, YMCA, Ukrainian Canadian Congress and the Department of Community Services offering information on services and supports and how they can be accessed.
