You can now catch the Madaraka Express Passenger Service train to Ongata Rongai, Ngong, Maai Mahiu and Suswa
stations.
The Madaraka Express Commuter Service Operates every Monday to Friday between Nairobi Terminus and Ngong station, leaving Ngong terminus at 6:20 am arriving Nairobi terminus 7:04am. The return journey the trains leaves Nairobi terminus at 18:50pm to arrive Ngong station at 19:33pm.
The Long Distance Service Nairobi Suswa trains operates on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays between Nairobi Terminus and Suswa stations with stopovers at Ongata Rongai, Ngong and Maai Mahiu stations.
The train fare from Nairobi terminus to Suswa station is KES 200 one way.

P.S. Tickets are sold over the counter at the nearest Madaraka Express Passenger Service station.
Word of caution though, the trains get really packed so you may want to call +254 709388888 to book your Nairobi Suswa train ticket in advance.

The train from Syokimau where the Nairobi terminus is located to the Ongata Rongai terminus in Kajiado County takes 21 to 23 minutes.
From Ongata Rongai terminus to Ngong terminus the train takes approximately 13 minutes.
