- Domestic and International students are encouraged to apply but must reside in Thunder Bay or surrounding regional campuses.

PSW Mainstream (Winter Compressed Intake)
- A one year two semester programs within person courses, labs and clinicals. This delivery of semester two is condensed in hours per week as opposed to the Fall Intake.

PSW Health Care Career initiatives (Multiple Intakes)
- Fully funded PSW program with multiple intakes throughout the year. Programs are both online and in person. They are full-time, two semester programs.
- All tuition, textbooks, and student fees, as well as most supplies are paid for by the Ministry of Labour.
- This is an employment initiative and our employment advisor works with each student to help them secure employment upon completion of their studies.

As a graduate of the Personal Support Worker program, you will provide support services to individuals and families in need of assistance. With this satisfying, people-focused career, you will be prepared to assist children, adults, and seniors with special needs or disabilities, and help them maximize their life experience. You can start the program in September or January or May.
This two-semester Personal Support Worker program may particularly appeal to those re-entering the workforce. In total, you’ll get approximately 400 hours of relevant theory and approximately 300 hours of real-life, clinical training. The focus of this program is on:
