The Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) is a pathway to permanent residence for skilled foreign workers and international graduates from a Canadian institution who want to work and live in 1 of Canada’s 4 Atlantic provinces—
- New Brunswick,
- Nova Scotia,
- Prince Edward Island or
- Newfoundland and Labrador.
The program helps employers hire qualified candidates for jobs they haven’t been able to fill locally.
The Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) replaced the Atlantic Immigration Pilot. You can now submit your permanent residence application to the program.
Through the Atlantic Immigration program, it is easier to apply for your Canada PR 2023 and live and work in New Brunswick and the other Atlantic provinces.
It is however important to note that the AIP is a job offer based program. Fortunately designated employers do not need to get an LMIA to hire a foreign worker.
Unless you have a valid job offer from a designated employer in New Brunswick, you won’t be eligible to apply for the AIP program through the province of New Brunswick.
But how do you find a job offer from Designated Employers in New Brunswick?
