In this post, I share with you a list of travel insurance providers currently covering Covid 19 Coronavirus for Kenyan travelers as well as other travelers in the rest of the world, and that pays out travelers who contract Covid-19 while overseas.
I also share with you their contact information. With many countries making insurance for Covid 19 a requirement for entering their territories, it’s imperative that you take insurance cover with a reliable insurance company that covers Covid 19 in the event that you get Coronavirus.
As travel bans are slowly being lifted world over, travel insurance that will cover you if you contract Covid-19 while overseas is increasingly common, although not universal.
You will however need to check the small print of your travel insurance policy carefully before jetting off otherwise you may be off to a rude shock.
The good news is that coronavirus is included in some travel insurance policies and we are seeing an increasing amount of travel insurance providers covering Covid.
Some of the covers by these travel insurance companies include:
- Insurance that covers people who need to cancel a trip because they contract Covid-19 after booking but before departing
- Policies that pay out to people who contract the disease on holiday
