Brandon, the second largest city in Manitoba, is one of the rural communities participating in the Rural and Northern Immigration Program (RNIP) that provides Brandon with the opportunity to work directly with employers and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to create a path to permanent residence for skilled Foreign Nationals who are able to fill local job vacancies and want to live in Brandon and the surrounding area.

Brandon is a community of just over 51,000 people located in the southwest corner of Manitoba, one hour from the USA and Saskatchewan borders.

Brandon is home to two colleges, a university, and one regional hospital.

The community has a low crime rate, affordable housing, clean water, fresh air, free quality public education and health systems, and abundant recreational and cultural opportunities.

The city is also lucky to have Westman Immigrant Services, a community based charitable organization that assists immigrants by providing three core services; English as an Additional Language (EAL) classes, Settlement Services and Brandon Community Language Centre Interpreter services.
