I show you the easiest way to move to Canada with your family and get Canada PR as a medical laboratory technologist (NOC 3211).
The easiest way to move to Canada as a medical laboratory technologist (NOC 3211) is through the SINP (Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program) which invites candidates to apply for Canadian PR through the Saskatchewan Occupations in Demand or Express Entry by submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI).
The Saskatchewan Occupations In-Demand (OID) and Express Entry (EE) programs are for those who have education and work experience as medical laboratory technologists (NOC 3211) but have no job offer.
You will need to create an Expression of Interest Profile to be considered for an invitation to apply.
Although NO job offer is required to apply for the Saskatchewan Occupations In-Demand (OID) and Express Entry (EE) streams and just CLB 4 language proficiency needed for OID subcategory, the SINP sometimes prioritizes applications from candidates with employment offers from Saskatchewan employers.
“As SINP have received a higher number of applications from persons with employment offers in recent months, the EOI draws have been adjusted to reflect that”.
If you are interested in moving to Canada with a job offer as a medical laboratory technologist (NOC 3211) and specifically working in Saskatchewan and would like to be contacted about job opportunities relevant to your skill set by the SINP or Health employers, you will need to create an International Healthcare Worker Expression of Interest (EOI) profile whereby you will be entered into the EOI Pool.
International Healthcare Worker EOI submission is not an application to the SINP. It is a pre-application form which allows you to fill out an online form to indicate your interest in working in Saskatchewan in a selected Health sector occupation and show your qualifications.
The information asked for is used to identify you for medical laboratory technologist job opportunities being offered by Saskatchewan healthcare sector employers.
Those who have skills needed will be contacted with job posting information, identifying where and how to apply for a job opportunity.
If you are selected and receive an employment offer, you may be eligible for the SINP’s International Skilled Worker: Employment Offer or the Hard-to-Fill Skills Pilot.
Not all candidates who submit an EOI will receive a job opportunity notification. There are no limits on the number of workers who can submit an EOI; however, candidates can only have one EOI profile.
The International Healthcare Worker EOI provides the opportunity to link foreign trained workers with Saskatchewan healthcare employers. However, foreign workers who receive an employment offer from a Saskatchewan employer do not need to create an EOI profile but can apply directly to the International Skilled Worker: Employment Offer sub-category or the Hard-to-Fill Skills Pilot.
You can also check the Canadian Job Bank website, filtering by ‘Saskatchewan’ as location and ‘medical laboratory technologists’ as the job title.
