Swimming… in July? Sounds crazy, right?
Whether you want to swim some lengths as per your daily swimming routine or you are just looking to start out on some laps, don’t let the temperature drops in upcoming months stop you. As the temperatures drop, so can your weight also follow suit.
Well you don’t have to be in Kisumu, at the coast or in Northern Kenya to do this. So don’t be bummed when you see your friends posting all their beach escapades on Instagram.
At the end of the day, you’re in Nairobi. And nothing can top that.
If you live in Nairobi, you might be surprised to find that we’re spoiled for choice when it comes to places to take a dip in the cold season!
There is a rich offer of heated swimming pools where you can gift your body a fresh start in the morning, find a zen space to rest and rejuvenate in after work, work off the weekend’s ugali and nyama choma, or loosen up your tight and stiff arthritis affected joints.
You might even be tempted to stick to these pools after the end of the chilly weather when the September heat comes knocking. After all, there’s way fewer people who know about these heated swimming pools in Nairobi, which makes it easier to come in and out and just do your thing.
