Recruit Bounty Scheme £500

Recruit bounty scheme is a Single £500 incentive paid out under UK British Army and Navy refer a friend scheme to incentivize serving military personnel to refer a friend and get them to join up.

Here’s an exciting update for both current soldiers and those considering joining the UK British Army as a non-UK citizen  in the upcoming year.

The Army is offering an incentive for all serving personnel to aid in recruitment efforts. All ranks are encouraged to sponsor potential recruits. A serving soldier will receive £500 for each applicant they sponsor who begins basic training.

“Sponsoring” can be as simple as providing advice and encouraging them to attend. As long as the recruit’s details are registered with you as their sponsor, you will receive the payment.

You don’t get the money until they complete basic i.e. Mod1-4. Payments can only be made once the referred recruit reaches attestation on their initial or basic training course.

The Royal Navy began operating the cash bounty in October 2023 to encourage serving sailors to refer civilian friends to join, while the British Army launched a similar scheme in July 2023.

But since both schemes, which are worth up to £1.2m, were launched, the Army has made only one payment, while each service has around 200 payments “under consideration”.
