In this post, I share 5 flat tummy hacks Lupita Nyong’o used to get fit for her Black Panther role.
You too can get a flat stomach in Kenya today!
Whether it’s for the beach or just because, having a flat tummy is always a great idea.
A flat stomach is not only a confidence booster but also a sign of good health. All else held constant. And who doesn’t want to show off an horizon flat washboard stomach in a bikini right?
And that’s why I decided to get you these hacks on how to get a flat stomach in Kenya.
These hacks worked for Lupita Nyon’go – a Kenyan belle – so they most definitely will work for you as well. Amazing, isn’t it?
In preparation for her role as Nakia in the award winning Black Panther movie, Lupita Nyong’o maintained a diet plan composed mainly of lean proteins and healthy carbs.
Without much further ado, here is a list of Lupita’s 5 hacks for the flat tummy and sinewy frame you swooned over throughout the action packed movie.
A refined sugar-free diet
If you were still not convinced why you should substitute your daily fructose or refined sugar intake for fruit, which is a good source of natural organic sugar, you now have a reason to.
On your way home today, pass by the market and stock up on fruits in season.
The key here is to make a concerted effort to consume a rainbow of fruits. This is because the different colors of fruits are an indicator of the different nutrients they contain. Consuming fruits in a variety of different colors helps ensure you get a substantial amount of the different nutrients your body needs for good health.
Energize your body with unrefined carbohydrates:
For breakfast, take foods such as oatmeal or corn meal porridge (uji). The likes of brown rice, sweet potatoes, arrow roots, quinoa, for lunch and dinner will help a great deal in fueling your body.
Take these unrefined carbohydrates in small portions, but just enough to ensure your body is not starved.
Goodbye to Junk Food
Junk food was a no no for Lupita and her Black Panther cast mates.
Instead, do healthy snacks such as peanuts, ground nuts, cashews, fresh berries, fruits, etc. Berries are great foods for fighting fat as they stop enlargement of fat cells.
You can also nibble healthy snack items such carrots, steamed beetroot, and other vegetables. These have near-zero concentration of fats and carbohydrates. Salty and sugary snacks such as french fries, biscuits, candy, cakes, cookies, etc are easily broken down into fat which is then deposited around your tummy.
Resist!
It’s all in the mind
Instead of spending all your energies on complaining and sulking on how you’re missing out on samosas, chips, and chocolate, use those energies to focus on what healthier better options you’ve got.
With a little creativity and thinking out of the box, you can come up with a very sumptuous low carb low fat meal.

Cut back on red meat
The chunks of red meat you pile on your plate now and then, may taste really good, but will do you no good in your efforts to getting rid of your belly fat.
Swap them for leaner alternatives of white meat such as chicken and turkey tenderloins – grilled or roasted.
Seafood is another healthy option to red meat. You can do salmon, tuna, corvina drum, sea bass, or grouper. Other fishes such as tilapia and nile perch are also a fresh and beautiful alternative to red meat.
With these diet hacks and a clear workout plan, Lupita successfully maintained her sinewy frame and it worked out for her role as Nakia.
Wakanda forever!
