I always make an effort to train my kids on the power of self sufficiency and learning to work with your own hands. Instead of putting efforts on counting my pennies and planning with them, I tell them to learn how to make their own money legally from a tender age.

Yes, just like a blunt pencil may still write or draw. But depending on the quality, pencils need to be sharpened every so often. And watching a pencil being sharpened, feels like a painful process.
And such is life.

In life too, you are in full control of your choices and that your actions, in response to what ‘coins’ we face in life.
This Black Panther quote is quite in sync with Ralph Waldo Emerson’s quote:

Set a strategic broader vision or picture of how you’d like your future life to look like.
Then, only engage in those activities and with those people, that take you one step closer to your envisioned broader future.

Allow me to borrow again from the analogy of a pencil.
